In het Architectuurcentrum is vanaf die datum tot 20 januari 2025 een expositie te zien van 17 posters van 140 x 100 cm van alle illustraties uit het boek. Het 248 pagina’s tellende, gebonden boek van Sak van den Boom (ruim 400 minutieus getekende illustraties) en Ton in ’t Veld (verhalen over – de historie van – alle straten) beschrijft de Bakenes, het monumentale hart van Haarlem met zijn rijke historie. De Bakenes is de wijk die wordt begrensd door de Nieuwe Gracht, het Spaarne, Damstraat, Klokhuisplein, Riviervismarkt en Jansstraat. En telt maar liefst 169 rijksmonumenten. Het boek is á € 20,- verkrijgbaar bij het Architectuurcentrum of de plaatselijke boekhandel.
