De komende jaren worden er drie nieuwe grote fietsenstallingen in het centrum geopend. Begin volgende jaar opent de fietsenstalling op het Houtplein de deuren. De stalling in de Tempeliersstraat gaat dan dicht. Een nieuwe stalling in de Kruisstraat en één onder de voormalige V&D staan in de planning. Na de opening van een stalling wordt er strenger opgetreden tegen fout geparkeerde fietsen in de omgeving van de stalling.
