dec 20, 2025 Bij graafwerk in de Hekslootpolder zijn resten uit de prehistorie gevonden. De vondst is bijzonder, omdat het laat zien dat in het gebied duizenden jaren geleden al mensen woonden. De resten zijn gevonden tijdens werkzaamheden voor het aanleggen van een baggerdepot...
Het stuk binnen de bebouwde kom van Haarlem zal een 30 km/h zone worden, de hoge populieren bij de woonboten gaan plaatsmaken voor nieuwe bomen, vanwege de conditie van de huidige populieren. Netbeheerder Liander heeft voorafgaand aan de werkzaamheden de elektrische laag- en middenspanning kabels vervangen. Bij het ontwerpen van de nieuwe situatie is ruim overleg geweest met wijk- en Dorpsraad, Volkstuinvereniging, woonbootvereniging, fietsersbond, enkele woonbootbewoners en Vereniging Behoud De Hekslootpolder.
