Hierin staat dat onze wijk, De Krim, een van de eerste wijken is die daarvoor aan de beurt komt. Om dit vanuit de wijk te begeleiden , is een werkgroep gestart die de contacten met de gemeente hierover coördineert. Werkgroepleden: Birgit van Oijen, Eva Winters, Teun Slijkerman.
Een eiland in de stad: dat is De Krim. Ingesloten door de Randweg en het spoor woon je hier een beetje dorps en geborgen. Aan de randen liggen het Pim Mulier Sportpark, het Mendel, de Kennemersporthal, de ijsbaan en het CIOS.
