Elke eerste woensdag van de maand wordt verzameld bij de container waarin deze groep haar materialen heeft opgeslagen. Deze container staat in het parkje van het Middengebied (tussen de Burgen), achter de Molenwiekschool. Het werkterrein van deze groep is het gebied tussen de Burgen. Ooit aangelegd door de gemeente Haarlem als een heemtuin, maar door grote verwaarlozing is daar niet veel meer van terug te zien. De werkgroep heeft de originele tekeningen van dit gebied teruggevonden in het Noord-Hollands archief en momenteel wordt gestart met het opnieuw inrichten van het gebied. De eerste aanzet is gedaan: er loopt weer een pad door het parkje – zoals dat voorheen ook was – zodat in elk geval het gebied weer een beetje toegankelijk wordt.
